An introductory APR period is a specific period of time during which no interest is charged on whichever transactions are included. Common transactions to enjoy an intro APR period are purchases, balance transfers and cash advances. Intro rates will differ in lengths categories as short-term, mid-term, and long-term. As debit cards do not charge interest rates, it is quite rare to see such cards having an intro period except where they apply towards monthly maintenance or annual fees and other periodic card charges. The following cards will not charge any interest rates on categories mentioned. It is worthy to note that having met a cards initial credit requirement, it is possible that not all applicants will qualify for all or certain aspects of the introductory period. It is always important to get exact information in this regard in the card agreement or terms and conditions. *Applicants are advised to see applicable terms and conditions before applying.
