There is a new offer from Discover More Card for first time customers, and the benefits of this mean that this is one credit card that deserves its name.
This card comes with incentives such as a bonus rewards giving cash back to customers who use the shopping portal of the company. But the benefits do not stop there, this is one card that really does offer more.
For new customers who manage to spend at least $1000 on their card in the opening three months, they can expect to earn $150 from the Discover More Card’s cash back reward scheme. That equates to very profitable 15% cash back. The sign up bonus the card pays is at a much lower threshold than the promotional offers of many other cards.
Plus, the opening $3000 worth of purchases will earn a 0.25 percent rate of cash back. After this $3000 opening limit any other purchases made on the card will offer a 1 percent cash back rate. This is a very good rate for those people who put all their purchases on their card and who then pay off the balance at the end of each month.
There is an opening offer of 0% APR on all purchases for the first 6 months from the date of the account being opened. When this opening offer has finished, the APR will increase to anything between 10.99% to 20.99% but this will vary from account to account due to the account holder’s credit rating.
Balance transfers will also be able to take advantage of the 0% APR for all transfers made before June 10th 2012. The fees to transfer during this time will be charged at 3% of the balance being transferred, afterwards the fee will rise to 5% or 10 dollars depending on which is the greater.
The Discover More Card also offers no annual fee and the cash back scheme will earn the card holder a 5% cash back reward for entertainment and gas purchases. Types of entertainment that is eligible for the cash back scheme include movie theaters and museums.
This is one of many lucrative deals which credit card issuers are dangling in front of consumers in order to tempt them away from existing providers. With so many consumers now turning their backs on banks and conventional lending methods, the pressure is on to get new customers.
