The Citi Private Pass is an exclusive benefit available to Citi credit card customers, giving them access to specialty events wrought with celebrity appearances. These events include exclusive cooking classes, preferred seating, and presale tickets.
If you have a Citi credit card, you have access to a very special benefit that other credit card providers do not offer. This is called, simply, the Citi Private Pass and it gives its holder the ability to get into a wide variety of specialty events around the world. If you carry a Citi credit card, all you have to do is visit the Private Pass website to check out which events they are offering currently. You could find yourself learning the bold flavors of Italian cooking in culinary class from Giada De Laurentis or kicking back with Alicia Keys at one of her concerts.
Of course, these are high-end benefits that might not necessarily appeal to everyone so the Citi Private Pass program also offers benefits that are a little more practical. It does not matter if you are into sports, music, theater, dining, or something else that is special to you: the Citi Private Pass program probably have something for you.
This fall, actually, Citi has added even more events to their already impressive lineup. For example, sports fans might enjoy watching a Sunday Night Football broadcast from John Madden’s personal production facility. Foodies, on the other hand, might appreciate partaking in an exclusive specialty dinner prepared by renowned Chef Daniel Boulud at his Upper East Side Manhattan establishment Restaurant Daniel. Other big names associated with Citi Private Pass program benefits include Major League Baseball’s David Ortiz and Cal Ripken and legendary recording artists like Gladys Knight and Frank Sinatra.
In order to better promote this program Citi is laying out all the stops. They have produced several new digital and print ads featuring some of the most iconic images in the country. This includes The Grove in Los Angeles, Ogilvy Station in Chicago, and New York City’s Bryant Park. In addition to these, you may also witness commercials featuring many of the celebrities listed above. Giada DeLaurentis even said, of shooting her commercial,
It was fun to show the kind of intimate and interactive culinary experiences Citi customers can enjoy. I’m always excited to share my passion for food, favorite recipes and techniques in the kitchen.
This is exactly how Ralph Andretta, head of co-brands and loyalty at Citi cards, feels about the program. In a recent press release he said
Whether our customers want to see their kids’ joy in playing with baseball legends or seeing their favorite band, we’re offering exclusive access to experiences of a lifetime. These ads show how anyone with a Citi credit or debit card can get more music, sports, and dining.
Of course, you can only enjoy these exclusive benefits if you actually carry a Citi credit card. Fortunately, you can always apply for something simple like the Citi Dividend Platinum Select credit card. This credit card offers access to the Citi Private Pass program as well as other great benefits.
This includes a $100 cash back sign up bonus just for charging $500 in the first 90 days of opening your account. That’s a 20 percent rebate just for using your card to purchase things you would probably already buy in the first place (a rebate much higher than most other cards out there). This card also offers five percent cash back when you make purchases within rotating categories that change every three months and one percent on all other standard purchases all year long.
