Green Dot Prepaid MasterCard offers the unique benefits of a prepaid card. Card members take advantage of the absence of interest rates, annual fees and other charges popular on credit cards. With a prepaid card it's easy to save funds for the rainy day or have enough funds for anytime an online purchase is about to be made. The purchasing power of MasterCard ensures card members have little or no limitations when it comes to spending their hard earned cash at favourite merchants and retail outlets.
Card members enjoy the luxury of receiving payment from employers through direct deposit. There are different ways to load this card including at CoinStar machines located in a local grocery store.
A $9.95 application fee is deducted from the card account after it's activated. It costs $4.95 anytime funds are loaded onto the card account. Card members incur a $4.95 monthly maintenance fee. ATM balance inquiries cost $1.50. Declined ATM withdrawals attract a $0.50 fee. ATM withdrawals outside the US incur a $3 fee while those within the US incur a $2.50 fee. Cash advances cost $4. It costs $10 to replace a lost or stolen card.
Card members receive weekly balance updates via email. Online account management provides for easy account monitoring 24hrs a day. Card members with a problem could contact customer support and speak to a live operator for $1.
