The Total Visa Card is designed for consumers with bad credit who want something that would give them an opportunity to make purchases from time to time. Credit limits given are not very high, but are still highly encouraging for students, young adults, or other persons with "less than perfect" credit. Furthermore, the card issuers report monthly to all major credit bureaus.

An introductory APR period applied towards purchase, balance transfers and cash advances do not exist. Members start to incur purchase APR right from a first purchase. Purchase interest is fixed and slightly high. Cash advances incur a fee and APR incurred is moderate. Members are not allowed to transfer balance from higher interest or any other prior owned credit cards.

An annual fee is charged. New card members incur an account set up fee. Online applicants receive an instant decision within minutes. The card issuers report to all major credit bureaus.

Online account management comes at no extra cost. Using secure encrypted connections, card members can check and be up to date on card details without the need to wait for hard copy statements. Paperless statements list out card expenses, credit balance, bills, charges, cash advances and other related transactions. These statements are available from time to time. Zero fraud liability applies to those card members who fall victim to internet fraud, and unauthorized transactions.

There is a 1% cash back rewards on payments made to your Total Credit Card.

There are options to pay outstanding credit balance over time or in full. Members are made privy to a long grace period before a late payment fee becomes applicable.

Round the clock customer service is made available to card members for most efficient handling of queries and feedback.

In summary, the Total Visa® card is a basic credit card which doesn't come with extra benefits, a rewards program, or most other features on premium or platinum consumer credit cards. However, it is a good option for individuals with bad credit.
