Wired Plastic Prepaid Visa Card is a prepaid card designed for residents within the United States. It's a plastic card on the VISA network that is accepted anywhere the Visa debit logo is displayed. Card members do not pay an annual fee, rather, a $3.95 fee is deducted from the card account each month.
Card members gain entry into the free Wired Points rewards program. While in the program, card members with active accounts earn points redeemable for Prepaid Wireless Airtime, Music Downloads, and Long Distance Calls. Points earned do not expire and there's no barrier stopping card members from earning a desire amount of points (no yearly limit).
Internet related services such as online account access and online bill payment are made available to card members. Using the online interface, card members can keep up to date with spending and charged deducted from the account. This is a useful tool as discovering unauthorized transactions on time remains important.
Online statements are in contrast with having to wait for or order paper statements costing $2.95 per request. Free mobile and email alerts help notify card members of transactions relating to the card account
With the Wired Plastic Prepaid Visa Card, card members can build a solid history and possibly improve their credit ratings over time. Depositing into the card account becomes much easier using a variety of methods. Members can participate in a Credit Builder program for instant credit reporting. New card members pay a $9.95 activation fee. Card members are protected from Identity Theft and unauthorized card use through a zero fraud liability protection program from VISA. This protection does not apply to theft arising from ATM withdrawals. Cash withdrawals from ATMs within the U.S. cost $1.95 per withdrawal. Balance inquires cost $0.95. ATM withdrawals outside the United States cost $4.95 per transaction while balance inquiries on ATMs outside the U.S. cost $1.95.
Approval is almost guaranteed once an Identity Check is carried out. There are no credit or income verification checks to disqualify interested applicants. Customer service lay within easy reach at no extra cost to card members.
