The Chase Sapphire MasterCard is a very simple card to apply for. The application is available online and takes a few minutes to complete. Upon submission, information will be verified and a credit check will be conducted. If everything checks out, a person can find out if they've been approved for the card. Once approved, the card will be sent in the mail and benefits can begin immediately.

There's no annual fee for the card. This keeps the purchases and the overall maintenance of the card very affordable. The number of features available for a card with no annual fee is significant in comparison to other cards on the market.

Points can be earned with purchases. Bonus points are awarded upon spending a certain amount within the first few months of having the card. After that, virtually every other purchase earns at least one dollar per month. Some restaurants and other merchants will give cardholders the opportunity to earn more than one point per dollar spent. There is no cap on what can be earned. The points also never expire, allowing cardholders to save the points until it reaches the desired limit for reward.

The rewards are available through the Ultimate Rewards program, which can be seen online. The points can be redeemed for various forms of travel. This includes a wide array of airline partners, hotels, cruises, rental cars and much more. Points can also be used for gift cards and merchandise.

This can be an opportunity to use it to treat one's self or as a gift. Cash back also is available in two different formats. First, cash can be credited to the statement to help pay down debt. Second, is a check can be mailed to the home, to be used as anyone sees fit.

Expert service advisors are available at any time. This can be advantageous to talk through debt and credit options. Cardholders also have access to the Blueprint feature online, which helps with payment options to try and pay down debt faster. This way cardholders don't have to be in debt any longer than absolutely necessary.

Online account management is also a feature. Cardholders get 24/7 access to account details. Account balances can be looked up, available credit lines can be searched and past transactions can be viewed. Statements can also be printed and downloaded.

For added convenience, it's possible to pay the credit card bill online, saving time and a postage stamp. When questions on the account come up, customer service can be contacted through the website as well as by phone and email.
