Applying for the LifeMiles Visa Signature Card is made simple with an online application. Basic personal information is requested and then used to review the applicant and their credit score. A decision is usually provided within seconds of submitting the application. A card is then sent out and benefits begin the moment the card is activated.

Cardholders will benefit from no preset spending limit. With no credit line, cardholders buy what they want, when they want. This is one of the perks of a Signature Visa. The card can be used at millions of merchants around the planet as well as for purchases over the web and over the phone. When the card is used, LifeMiles are also being earned.

There is at least one LifeMile earned for every dollar spent on the card. Bonus miles can be earned the first time the card is used as well as on the anniversary of the card each year. More miles can be earned when the card is used on airline tickets with TACA or Avianca. Additional miles can even be earned with balance transfers to bring the balances of other credit cards over to this one.

The LifeMiles can be used for an array of things. This includes being able to buy free airline tickets, get free hotel stays and save on various other travel benefits. Miles aren't the only perk of having the card. Baggage fees can be reduced and concierge provides assistance with dining, shopping and entertainment when on travel anywhere around the world.

The low annual fee is affordable. There is a minimal fee charged to the account every year. When the card is used significantly throughout the year, the benefits far outweigh the annual fee, making it worth the cost.

With a low APR, purchases are more affordable as well. Interest charges are reduced in comparison to other credit cards. Cardholders choose how they want to pay for purchases. Statement balances can be paid in full each month to avoid interest. Otherwise, purchases can be paid in smaller amounts over time and interest charges will be incurred.

Signature benefits come with the card as well. This includes purchase security for items that are damaged or stolen as well as an extended warranty of up to twelve months for qualifying purchases. There is also lost luggage reimbursement and travel insurance up to $1 million when the travel itinerary is booked using the credit card. There is also a special travel and emergency assistance number that can be used to get assistance when traveling outside of the country.

Account management is made simple with online and phone tools. The online account tools allow cardholders to log on at their convenience to check on account details. Bills can be paid online and statements can be downloaded to the computer. It also allows cardholders to check on the balance and view account credit line availability to avoid going over budget or over the credit line with any purchases.

Fraud protection is in place with the card as well. This ensures that a person is able to make a purchase without fear of any fraudulent activity taking place. The card is always monitored by the bank. Should something unusual appear on the account, it triggers a warning to get information from the cardholder before proceeding.

Many benefits come with the card. When the card is sent out, cardholders will get the card, a PIN for use at ATM machines as well as a detailed list of all benefits and how to use them. Beyond the annual fee, there is no charge for any of the benefits, allowing cardholders to use them as needed throughout the year to save money, travel for less and do much more.
